She offers kudos (and some tips for other new Causes) in her recent thank you note: "I have worked with a lot of fundraisers over the years. I can honestly say iGive is one of the few that makes it easy to WANT to use your services. The helpful "hint" email at sign-up is one of the many reasons. While I am sure it is true with any charity, (I have worked with many) most especially with animal rescue every single penny counts because those pennies are so hard to come by. There are very strong advocates for the animals and all rescues are competing for donations. And we compete with the HSUS specifically. This is a group that is very hard to compete against for donations as they do have the funds to back advertisements and many people do not understand the differences between the "little guys" (us) and the "Giant" (them).
I know this is not information that is helpful for you, but I am saying it because I want you to know how important what YOU are doing is to us. I have found iGive to be easy to understand, easy to work with and it actually has no negative "side effects" for people to "sign up" because so many of the stores either are favorites already or are strong competition for other stores that are favorites. This is particularly true in animal rescue with Jeffers. Most rescues know who they are; but, so few advocates know about them and their prices beat the other online stores hands down. Then, when shopping through iGive, there is the added bonus of a donation being made to a rescue.
