The iGive Button is optional, and iGive will work without it. You are welcome to support your cause via http://www.igive.com/ by using the links on our site, or in our newsletters.
The iGive Button can be uninstalled by clicking the seed icon, then select "Uninstall".
NOTE MAC Safari 5.1.x USERS:
- In Safari, click the “Safari” menu option.
- Click the “Preferences…” menu option.
- Click on the “Extensions” tab.
- Locate the “iGive Button” in the list of extensions and click the “Uninstall” button.
Here is a set of manual instructions for uninstalling the iGive Button if the option above does not work properly. See the correct option below:
Internet Explorer PC Users:
Uninstall the iGive Button by closing your browser window(s) then going to
Start | Settings | Control Panel
Select "Add / Remove Programs"
Click "iGive Button"
Click "Remove"
Restart your computer.
Firefox Users:
Uninstall the iGive Button by clicking on the Ad-ons option in the Firefox menu, then selecting the “Extensions” option
In the left hand menu. Now find the entry for the “iGive Button” in the list and click the “Remove” button.
Restart your browser.
Safari MAC Users:
Restart your computer and DO NOT open Safari.
In the “Finder” app, navigate to: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/iGiveButton.bundle
Drag "iGiveButton.bundle" to your trash.
Restart your computer.
Newer Safari version of the Button:
1. Open “Finder” program
2. Navigate to Library/Safari/Extensions/.
3. Delete extension by removing iGiveButton.safariextz (drag to trash)
Chrome Users:
Uninstall the iGive Button by clicking on the wrench tool, then select “Tools”, and finally select the “Extensions” option.
Now find the entry for the “iGive Button” in the list and click the “Uninstall” link.
Restart your browser.
